What is a Juice Cleanse?

A juice cleanse is a short term liquid raw diet intended to detoxify the body and focus the mind. Juice provides an abundance of nutrients (vitamins, minerals, healthy carbohydrates) while allowing your digestive system to take a break from the harsh conditions of a standard American diet. Cleanses are particularly important during the changing of the seasons as our bodies rest and reset for a new season of food. The long-term results of a successful juice cleanse can be powerful and you’ll feel energized, balanced and focused. It can improve sleep, curb cravings, stabilize your blood sugar, bring mental clarity and a better connection between your body, mind and spirit.

Why do the JUICE-TIL-DINNER Cleanse 

My method of juicing is specific to the needs of people living a busy lifestyle. You don't have time to take off from work or your family to lounge on a beach in Mexico while cleansing. You want to get the results of a cleanse without missing a beat. I combine the traditional juice cleanse with a healthy and nutritious dinner, so you feel energized and empowered.

The traditional juice cleanse method re-invigorates the body and mind, but it also repairs damage to your body done during the winter. Your body is getting a flood of nutrients from fresh fruits and vegetables. Because it’s juice rather than whole, it’s easier on your digestive system and flushes your liver, kidneys and gall bladder. Not only will you be getting the nourishment your body needs for Spring, but the juice recipes are delicious and refreshing.

I encourage cleansers to eat a small healthy evening meal each day of their juice cleanse. I have used this method for years and swear by it for 3 reasons.


A cleanse is only as successful as your ability to stick to it. I’ve seen too many people push their cleanse to an unhealthy extreme and end up binging on cheeseburgers because they were so hungry.

That is counterproductive and can be dangerous. I want to make sure you eat something to keep you on track. A simple evening meal fills you up while still achieving your health goals.


Cold winters require your body to eat warming foods. According to traditional ayurvedic health theories, most body types don't react well to a sudden shift to eating only raw and cooling fruits and vegetables. By using the juice-until-dinner approach we can transition your body into a new season of food and ease your body into a new and healthier way of eating.


Juice cleanses can be shocking to your body if you aren’t used to doing them. To avoid headaches, overwhelming hunger pangs and other things that keep people from finishing their cleanses I incorporate foods that further nourish and balance their body without the physical and mental struggle against hunger.

Accountability is the one thing that helps most people stay committed to their health goals. Simply by joining a group of like-minded people as you take this short, but challenging journey together, you will be more likely to succeed at this cleanse and it could be the one thing you need to change the course of your health in the future.
